LPG
LPG (Liquid Petrolium Gas) is commonly used in location and communities who do not have a connection to the natural gas distribution network. Although LPG is still a fuel gas used in gas fired appliances it has different properties to natural gas and therefore requires additional training and assessment to that of natural gas. The training and assessment provided at GATc clearly defines the differences between the two gases and how inspections / testing is adapted to take account of those differences. Candidates who undertake LPG training are generally seeking to carry out gas related work in caravans, mobile homes, camper vans, mobile catering units, remote communities not connected to natural gas, and other similar installations. To find out more about LPG training please contact us and we'll be pleased to help.
