Description

Safe Isolation is a one-day course which includes training and assessment where people who are not electricians need to work on electrics. The course  includes compliance with TB 118A and will teach and assess people to work safely and appropriately without putting themselves or others at risk of electric shocks or other danger. The course includes basic understanding of electricity, use of voltage meters and confirmation that circuits and cables are dead and safe on both single and 3 phase installations. On successful completion of an assessment which involves a practical test and short theory test the operatives will be issued with an accredited certificate. The course does not include the purchase of the necessary equipment all gas operatives will require following completion of this course.
