CCLNG1, Core Commercial Laundry Gas Safety, is the core qualification and is normally a pre-requisite to have before attaining ‘CLE1’ (Installation of Commercial Gas Laundry Appliances). There are some exceptions to this, but generally most candidates must complete CCLNG1, or already be in possession of this qualification before adding the ‘CLE1’ qualification.

As you can see CCLNG1 contains several modules and therefore training takes a number of days to complete, actual time dependent upon whether this is the first time you’ve completed this training or if it is a refresher course to renew qualifications you already hold. You must also allow time to undertake and successfully pass the associated theory and practical assessments associated with CCLNG1. These can also take a day or more to complete, again dependent upon the time you as an individual might need.
